I just got the Trailer Life Campground Navigator 2007. It has a GPS function on it .

I have a CoPilot I have been using. Can I use the same antenna/receiver on the Trailer Life?

Any idea, please reply.

Thanks

George

I'm sure there's a way, but go to the "Help" Tab in Traler Life 2007, Then "On Line Support". They have been very fast with answers to questions. Be sure to let them know the model of GPS you have.

This release of Trailer Life 2007 has some nice features and works very well.

I have used and use several GPS map programs. DeLorme Street Atlas 2007 is my favorate, but lacks campground info. Trailer Life Campground Navigator has never gotten their act togather UNTILL NOW. The just released 2007 Trailer Life Campground Vavigator works very well, and I now like it for trip planning, campground location and info.

My DeLorme GPS will output data to both DeLorme and Trailer Life so both programs can be run at the same time.

While traveling, I have both programs running in the GPS mode (with DeLorme on top). Then if I want to find a campground close by from where we are, just hit "Alt" and "Tab" and Trailer Life comes up with your current location and all the "in the area campgrounds".

This does not work (running GPS with 2 programs at the same time)with all programs, but does work as I discribed with DeLorme and Trailer Life.

There are two ways of using a single GPS input.

In case one you can either have Co-Pilot or Campground Navigator running. They can be installed on the PC together, that is not a you just can't run them concurrently. I am using the same software combimation.

The other way is to add a piece of software called GPS Gate, that takes the USB GPS signal and splits it to multiple sources each with it's own interrupt. With this software you can use both Co-Pilot and Campground Navigator. The software can be located at the below site and has a 14 day trial period so you can see if this solution is for you.

Here is were you can obtaon GPS Gate

Hope this helps
