When you do a grease job on the Freightliner XC chassis, do you raise the front wheels off the ground to grease the main joints? The book says only on the initial grease job but I am doing it each time I grease the beast...What do you reccommend? thanks RKL

I jack up each side using a bottle jack under the front axle just enough to take the weight off the tires before greasing the king pins. I don't think any other lube points are under pressure to the same degree.

I use the jacks and lift the front off the ground. Just take the weight off the tires.
