I recently bought a 2000 Winnie Adventurer (WFG35B). It is a Ford F53 chassis and I wasn't sure where to ask my question. But think my issue might be unique to Winnebago.

I can tell the brake fluid is old and needs changing and I want to do it. My problem is that the master cylinder under the hood is really high and I do not see any way to "pour" fluid in the MC. Moreover, I would need to get the fluid to pretty much "run uphill".

Is there a "secret" to getting fluid into the master cylinder? Or is there some special tool I need?

Any input would be very much appreciated :-)

Had the same issue with a Chevy Lumina APV and found an answer.. Turns out to be way easier than you might suspect.. AutoZone.com | Funnel
Check out part number 10704 on this page.

And 10106B-6 on this page
AutoZone.com | Oil Spout

I linked to Auto Zone on both items.. The last one (Hipkins/Trans fluid and Gear oil Spout) is what I used to add brake fluid to my Lumina.. I just screwed it onto the top of a can of brake fluid and ran it in. If you need to any hardware can sell you a longer plastic tube for added reach.

I bought the Motive brake fluid changer and it eliminates the need to pour up hill. It pressureizes the whole system and truly makes the job one man friendly. I did my entire RV in less than 45 minutes by myself. The system sells for about $60 and comes with the resevoir cap that you designate depending on the cap that you have. Go to there web site and see what they offer.

Thank you both for your helpful responses. I'm not sure which way I'll go, but I am appreciative of the input :-)
