On our last trip the hazard 4 way flasher switch refused to move. (the turn signals work fine) It's a push on and push off. I tried puting contact cleaner and then WD-40 around the base of the s/w thinking this would free it up. No luck.

Finnaly I did get some movement out of it but 4 ways did not come on. When I hold the s/w in the turn signal stops working but start again when I let off the switch

In order to acess the hazard s/w the plastic cover needs to come off. But the ignition s/w dosen't allow this since it must be removed to get the cover off.

So first question....can any one tell me how to remove the ignition? There is usualy a procedure to get the ignition out but I do not know what it is on this one.

I can just see under the plastic cover and it looks like the hazard s/w is not seperate but a part of the turn signal unit. Any info on this and removal information will be appreciated.

Thanks
