My question is: How does one adjust them?

Good question. I'm surprised they stay put as well as they do. I had to glue one side of the passenger side headlight in place to keep it from falling down. I'll be looking for any responses to your question.

Ah, the glue.....

Well, the first problem I had with that is that one of the headlights had dropped down behind the front fascia (best name I have for it; certainly not much strength for a massive motorhome) I called Winnebago and their first response was "You realize that your coach in no longer under warranty", followed by "take it to a dealer and have it re-glued", followed by my response "I'll use bolts and put it back together so it will stay together" (which I did) and in the process of so doing got the right headlight out of alignment, hence the problem; I cannot drive at night without endangering oncoming traffic. I have bolted every glue joint I have found to come loose that I can find.

I hope that someone on this forum can come up with a solution to help us align the headlights, so we can be safe after dark.

use some shims, washers between the bolt/light.
If the bolted in light is the only one out of whack.
Drive it up to your garage door or other and match them up. Might take a drive or two at night to get it like you want. Just a thought.

If you were to look carefully at the headlight assembly, you would see that the lamp is attached to a framework that is "glued" to the fiberglass. As a part of this framework is a flexible shaft approximately 18-24 inches long that is mounted to the fiberglass in the area of the genset access door. (It's an "L" shaped bracket) Turning this shaft will adjust the aiming of the headlight.

Red T:

I found the flex shaft. Two questions:

1. Which size wrench to turn them?

2. Does adjusting the one flax shaft do a vertical or a horizontal adjustment?

If it does only one of the two directions, how to adjust the other?

Wendell, if memory serves, it is a hex head, and quite small - sorry I can't remember. As for adjustment, it controls vertical. Horizontal is controlled by adjustment on the headlight assembly mounts (slots in the mounting bracket).

I had reason to adjust because of a turkey strike a couple of years ago - knocked the entire assembly loose. Had to "re-glue" the mount assembly and adjust light. A learning experience for me!
