We have the small round H5006 headlights on our 2002 Suncruiser, Ford chasis. Like others, we find these lights poor but sometimes find ourselves faced with night driving. I have read the threads on this BB of checking the aim and they appear to be as good as they are going to get.

I took one of the sealed headlights to NAPA and nothing showed up on their search to help me. There are larger round sealed units available as well as rectangular units, but nothing in the small round H5006 bulb. What have others done to resolve this issue of poor night lighting short of not driving at night?

Thank you for your time?

I don't seem to have the same problem but if I did I would look into one of the aftermarket systems I have seen advertised. Sylvania offers one I think.
The drawback is that they are pretty expensive - maybe $200 - but I understand they are bright.

Just a tip Ron, check how your coach lights are aimed first. Many people have found that re-aiming the lights made a big difference. My wife drove her car and I took the coach to a nearby big box store, like Home Depot, and we pulled around to the back side of their building at night. Placed both vehicles side by side and about 100 feet away from the building; -the difference in headlight aiming was obvious.

I took the advice of checking the aim of the headlights by using the side of buildings as a screen. On our coach the passenger side was "down and out" so to speak. After bringing both to the same level, I then raised them "just a tad".
This weekend was the first time I could field test the adjustment and am satisfied with the results. We drove from central MO to Branson in the wee hours and I am now comfortable to drive at night. The headlights are not on par with the silver stars but yet good enough to now drive at night.
Thanks for the good advice.
