Hi all;

I have a defective headlight Switch, that I need to replace. Took the dash apart, but can't figure out how to get the knob to the headlight switch off, so that I can pull the switch out. I was told that there is a button that you push on the switch, and that releases the rod and knob, but it dosen't seem to work. Any one have any idea's?

Take a look at the replacement switch.
Do you see the mushroomed head of a button?
I cannot speak for your exact model, but pushing that button in releases the knob and the shaft.
