I have a 2001 Journey with a Heart Interface Panel and the Powerline Center Panel. Yesterday I checked my battery fluid levels and had to disconnect some cables to be able to replace water. I've done this before without issue.

After I finished my XM radio kept going off. I noticed that the panel voltage meter was low, down in the tens. Later, my Heart Interface shut down and it was obvious that I was losing battery power. I disconnected the Heart Interface, unplugged it, waited a minute or so reconnected it and it came back on. The battery voltage remained low but by this afternoon it returned to normal and all seems OK.

Can someone tell me what happened?

Nick

One of the connections you disconnected and reconnected must have been dirty or loose.
