I want to change all the heater hoses on a used mh I just bought, and wanted to have all the hoses on hand before I dig into it. My rig has a V10 Ford Triton. I have the Motoraid and Coach Heater options. Can anyone tell me how many feet of hose I will need, and the diameter? Is this a big job?

Also, where exactly is the Coach Heater located? I know it is supposed to heat the rear of the rig while the engine is running, but I can't figure out where it is. I removed the mattress and the false bottom of the bed compartment, but the only thing I can see back there is the basement air unit.

Thanks!

Bob

HI Bob--I see that you have not received any responses to you post. I can't help you either but was curious on how the hoses looked. Do you think they are starting to go bad? It does sound like a big job but let us know what you find out. Good luck with your project. John

hi..i have a 2001 35u and am not sure if they are the same..however, my coach heater is located behind the hot water tank in the compartment under the passenger seat..to access it you have to remove the water heater..i and many other owners have had problems with the coach heater fan and there is a lot of info on this site if you search under coach heater problems..jim..
