Had the same problem on my 2005, the solution was to put a high crook into the exit hose so the dirty water would not flow back into the machine. I think a one way check valve would have done the job. Final solution was to take it out and put in a wine cellar.

Is the strainer screen (beneath the flatware tray) loaded with food gunk? Take it out - it lifts out. You might need to keep that a bit cleaner for a while.

Have particles escaped the strainer and gotten underneath the strainer? If so get the wet/dry vac out and suck up everything you can under the strainer. Use a water hose a forcibly squirt water under the strainer area to help flush it out.

Are you running full cycles and using ONLY powdered dish detergent? Powder is a F/P requirement.

Another helper might be to make sure you are getting HOT water to the drawer - it takes a while for the drawer to draw hot through all that plumbing. The trick is that your drawer probably taps off the kitchen faucet hot line. If so, run the kitchen faucet until it gets hot BEFORE starting the drawer.

Is your water heater / mixing valve set high enough? ECO mode may be an impediment if you don't have hot enough water.
