Hello All,
I was wondering if any of you out there found this problem familiar and might be able to offer help finding my leak.
I have a 2005 Journey 34H. I have a leak which, some how, ends up with water in the front, passenger-side, basement compartment light fixture. It's relatively slow in accumulating and I've not been able to discern a pattern yet. For those not familiar with this floor plan, all the plumbing is on the other side of the coach and we have a small sofa immediately above the compartment in question.
I've had it looked at by the dealer and they initially diagnosed the problem as a leaking porch light. The theory being that the water was getting behind the light and then following the wires down to the basement light fixture. They re-caulked the fixture and that worked for a while, or so it seemed. At any rate, last Sept. just prior to putting the coach in storage, I noticed the fixture full of water again.
I took it back to the same dealer, but they couldn't find anything wrong. Moreover, they said the tech that made the initial diagnosis couldn't have been right. I'm planning to take the coach back to the factory and have them look at it, but maybe someone out there has seen this before.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. I won't be able to follow up for a couple more weeks, but I'll be certain to post the results, assuming I find anything.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

This may not be the same issue, but I had water coming into a basement light fixture because the caulking around the wire going into the top of the fixture was incomplete.
This was on a slide-out compartment and water that collected on the top of the compartment when driving in rain was leaking through .

That's a great thought, but I should have mentioned this isn't the side with the slide
Thanks for thinking on the problem, though.
