I am trying to open a slide. The battery is on, the invertor was on. Then I tried the generator. Then I got the book out AGAIN!!!!

OK it's the parking brake. I cannot set the brake. What did I miss?

I used to have a 1999 Adventurer ... it seemed to me that I had to have the transmission in PARK and the Parking brake ON.

Is it just one slide that will not move or both?

Try starting the engine if that doesn't work ...

On our present coach (Journey) sometimes the back slide does not want to extend (or retract) ... our work around is to simultaneously start the other slide ... or sometimes moving the other a few inches does the trick ... (my co-pilot "invented" this work around)

Gramp, I can't set the parking brake, that has to be the problem. Just had the brake recall done....any connection?

OK I finally got it. It took all the strength I had to set the brake but it fiinally set. Then the slide opened, of course. Thank you so much Gramps.
