Bought this unit on ebay and brought it home from Oregon to BC and found two problems that hopefully someone here can give me some suggestions on bdfore I take in to service guys. The first problem was the Suburban furnace would not even come on the blower or fan cycle so dont know if the thing works or not as would not commence the start up routine. I did find a push button breaker but that did nothing. The second problem we found was the fridge would not switch to ac power so I did find and replace fuse and first time on plugging back in to shore power at another park it would not work again and checked the fuse again and it was blown again. Replaced and then everthing seemed ok but when we went to check some hours later the fridge was not cold in fact the ice and icecream in freezer were melting. Switched over to propane and everthing ok again. It is a newer Dometic 2 way fridge with electronic controls. Sorry dont have model number as motorhome parked at storage right now. Dont know if the two electrical problems could be related or not. I am a relatively newbie at this RVing as we bought a C in Feb but sold it as we found it too small for our needs and just purchased this A. Counted on putting some cash into it but still a good deal for us Canucks. Would very much appreciate some troubleshooting things to look at if possible. Thanks

Rickas ,welcome to irv2 with your new coach.
If you check for 12 volts at your furnace location we will know if its ok that far. Also under your refer if thats where your furnace is located you will have a cold air return inside your coach to your furnace, remove the return air grill and maybe wood baffel you may find two more fuses for your furnace, check these also. The grill maybe held on by velcro strips or screws., Check at electic outlet for refer also for 110v, the outlet maybe controlled by a gnd fault outlet in kitchen or bathroom and maybe tripped. Make sure your gas valve is on,where it feeds into your furnace, you will have to remove outside cover to your furnace to gain access to this valve.
Let us know how you are making out so we can follow up for you. "007"
P.S. When you have time in your sig. profile post your coach and chassis info for future reference, you won't have to keep posting it in the future.
