I was wondering if anyone who has a sightseer or sunova has experienced extreme heat comming from under the sink area .I believe its the motoraid hot waterheater. We just got the 26p sunova and found this to be quite a problem.Maybe not to bad this time of year but I feel it will be a pain in the warmer months.Any hints or solutions will be appreciated. Thanks kel in Ontairo Can.

kita,
I have a '03 Sightseer 30B. My coach furnace is located below the oven. There is a passage way (for wires and plumbing) behind all the cabinets down at floor level. When the furnac is running, hot air gets into this passage and comes out from under/behind the sink. It is actually a good thing...if it is cold enough to require the furnace, the excess heat in that passage keeps the pipes from freezing.
The MotorAid has 2 5/8" lines that run from the engine, down the left frame rail, then up into the space under the rear bed.

Where is your converter located? Mine was under the sink and created a lot of heat when plugged into shore power. I relocated it in the outside compartment under the sink.
If this is not the case you could get some insulation covered with aluminum foil and wrap the Motoraid.

We have a Sightseer 26P and have also noticed the hot air coming from under the sink area. I think you are right in believing it's from the water heater, but we haven't found it to be a problem. I don't think it's enough air relative to the total volume in the MH to increase the overall temp by more than a degree. The AC is so efficient in these models that it gets downright cold if you have it on for long.
