Have a read of this (long, but useful) thread: Yet another solenoid bites the dust!

As detailed there I finally replaced my solenoid with the silver contact version along with a couple of resisters to drop the activation voltage slightly--it's been operating great for the last 10 years.

House batteries

Thanks for your reply

To much info. I need to locate said switch 1st. Since this tread is form 2008 maybe a more simple fix is available? Chris you have helped me on all my fixes!

second problem

My norcold 1200 will not work on 120v. Panel code reads (no) AC. Running on propane now .

The solenoid is in the right rear outside electrical compartment, behind the black panel. The side facing the inside of the compartment comes off.

Well worth reading the entire linked thread, but posts #64 through #74 cover my fix (w/pictures).
Page 3 of the Chassis Wiring Installation diagram for your coach shows the solenoied(s).
