House Batteries don't seem to be charging

I have a 99 Chieftain Dsl it seems the house batteries wont charge when plugged to shore power can someone tell me where battery charger is located.I*'m going to do some checking today.

Look underneath your kitchen cabinets, behind the kick panel. This where my Charger/Converter is located. You may have to pull out a few of the lower drawers.

Battery will not charge or hold a charge is there bad. Have you looked at the fluid levels and condition of them. I found low fluid level in mine and upon adding fluid they still would not hold a charge. Also keeping a constant charge on the battery will likely over charge them driving off fluids and causing a shorter battery life. I now only charge my battery just prior to using them. I try to keep my main house battery switch off most to the time. Especially if plugged into shore power.

Ok I have narrowed it down to chassis batteries but my engine will still start with chassis batteries removed and cables taped up why is it still starting off house batteries without touching the switch

what problem are we trying to track down?
a) your house batteries are not charging? (if I understand what you have written they still start your engine)
b) your starting batteries are not charging?
c) why did you disconnect the starting batteries?

What voltage should I get from the connector below the refer vent? I would imagine it is DC voltage should it be 12 V or higher? Thanks all

Your battery isolation solenoid must be stuck in the bridged mode.

I got low dc volts on refrigerator so I thought my house batteries were bad so I ran a load test on them they checked out good. so I decided to check engine batteries one was bad so I brought two new ones. were is the battery isolation solenoid located. I guess house batteries were carrying all the load
