House batteries new. No 12v in coach

Just got my 2001 adventurer out of storage. Put in new house batteries. I’m getting power to start generator from them but no lights etc in coach and no house bat voltage on panel.

Aux battery switch is on and makes noise when cycled. Emergency start switch on dash clicks relay also.

With gen running panel says house bats at 13 volts.

I bought this rig 2 years ago. Full timed in it first 18 months. But nearly all stops were long term with shore power.

My current storage situation has no power which is a hassle.

I’m taking a 1600 mile trip next week and need to get this figured out. Son having surgery.

Genset uses chassis batteries for starting. Have you checked the big fuse in the pos battery cable for house batteries? I think it is 100A.

If the 100 amp fuse cks out, you might jump the (large) house battery disconnect solenoid terminals to verify (or not) that the solenoid contacts are OK. They can "click" or "hum" and even show battery voltage on the big lugs and still have too high a resistance to power anything more that a voltmeter. On my small rig, there is plenty of room to c a r e f u l l y jump the terminals/lugs with one conductor of a jumper cable set ...... for a quick test; but dunno about your coach.

Good luck with the trouble shooting; and, safe travels.
