I have a 2006 Journey which has the same three 12 volt battery setup that you have. They work fine if you don't do much dry camping. I plan on converting to four 6 volt batteries when the original batteries go bad. It will (I am told) be a much more user friendly setup. Do a search on this site under house batteries and you will find many other people who have made the change.

My coach has 3 Group 29 12v batteries on the house bank. They work well for me. I bought the coach "new" with apx 5k miles on it (dealer show coach for about 10 mo) in July 2003. I ran the equalizing procedure at least twice a year, and had to replace the house batteries in Oct 2007 when they were 5 years old.

I have an '06 Meridian 34H that had 3ea. GP-29's. They're now in the garage on a float charger and the coach is running 4ea. U-2200 6v GC batteries.

I have 3 ea GP 31's. Less then a month old. They replaced the original GP 31's. The original middle one developed a bulge on the end so wanted to get it out of there. Was considering going to a 6 volt or AGM system but wanted to not have to deal with charging rates, etc. When these go, if I still have this coach might consider redoing the whole electrical and throwing solar panels into the mix.

The GP-29's are 13x6.75. And the U-2200's are 10 1/4x 7 1/8.
