There is no air coming out of one of the dash air vents. I didn't find any hose leaks underneath. I need the dash open to check further, but I can't figure out how to take the dash off. Does it flip up or what? Joe

On mine I just grab the bottom and lift up. Simple as that.

Hi Joe! It's not that simple with our dash - it doesn't flip up like my 02 Brave did. I lost air flow at the left of dash cluster vent and found it was caused by a separation of the flexible duct material about 6 inches from the dash. I removed the black plastic louvered dash portion, pulled he duct out the hole, cut off the separated end and re-fastened the duct - there was enough duct once I re-routed it behind the dash. Not a fun job. You need to lie down under the steering column to be able to see what's happening. Hope this helps you.

That is the exact vent in ours that is not working! I'll have to take a look at removing the louvered section and go from there. Thanks, that info will help me. Joe

We found that the air hose was just hanging there and not connected to the vent. It was an easy fix with electrical tape. Joe

If any of you have the passengers slide out tray with storage underneath it, it provides very good access to the A/C system and radio etc. All you have to remove are the eight sheet metal screws holding the tray to the dash and pull it up. It gives you a lot of space to work in and if you want to repair or add something, it really makes it easy.
