.-.-.-.-.-.-.- -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

I have been having a blast reading the two dozen or so manuals and pamphlets and trying to familiarize myself with the complex entity now known as my coach.

This afternoon I have been checking out the docking lights, porch lights, turn signals, etc.

There is one lamp on the driver's side mid-coach way up high. It looks like the porch light (rectangular and the lens angles down). Neither the docking lamp or porch lamp switch turns this light on. Help!

John,
It's your work light. The switch is in the Water/Sewer bay. I think it should have an inside switch but it doesn't.

If that doesn't do it , check to be sure there's a bulb in the fixture and that it's not burnt out. Mine came from the factory burnt out.

Thanks Jim! We are pulling out of the campground this morning headed for the house. We will have our first fueling experience at the Flying J down the street.

I believe our discoveries about the coach are not yet completed

I really appreciate all of the help you and the others guys on the forum have extended.

Have had my coach a year and I just found out that the compartment door under the bedroom slide has a wire retainer that keeps it from hitting the slide when it is out. You can remove the retainer and it will open all the way with the slide in..Hope it doesn't take you as long to learn as it has taken me...Drive safe and

Check your smoke detector. I went several months before checking mine. The battery wasn't plugged up. Should have been the first thing I checked.

Jim - I'll bet I will discover things about the coach for a long time like you!

Gary - We had a pretty walk-through and testing all of the detectors was on the list. As far as I can tell, I think we have now a pretty good idea of what needs attention/repair on the coach. Fortunately, it is a very short list now.
