After reading through the forums to troubleshoot my heat exchanger in our 2004 33U Suncruiser, it seems that the Starter Capacitor if I'm stating it correctly, is not working.

Everything has been running fine for the last year. We are full-timers here is Seattle. In the last couple of days we have been trying to turn on the basement heat exchangers and it instantly trips off without setting off a breaker anywhere. It turns off as soon as it starts, it stops. It seems like it is tripping but as I said, no breaker issues.

So I was hoping to figure out if I can pull the outsite panel which is the body of the coach with the fiberglass grill in front of the heat exchanger off and be able to access the panel where the electical components are located. I have attached a picture with the door in question and circled it in red.

Does this outside body panel come off easily. I have googled this and found nothing to help with the removal of the door.

I may just take it into the shop and have them take care of it. But if I can order a part and put it in quickly it would save me a lot of trouble.

Thanks for your help,

That panel should actually be hinged at the top just like all of the other doors. There are probably several screws along the bottom and/or side which secure it. If you track those down you should be able to hinge the panel up. You will need to prop it up with something, however, since it doesn't have a gas cylinder like the other doors.

Great, thanks so much for the quick reply. I found some advice on the forum which suggested pulling the thermostat fuse on the power mgt panel for 20 seconds to reset the circuit....worked great. Unit came on. I still need access thought to go under there and have a look at things.

On my unit, open the propane door. There are 2 screws in a bracket that go into the heatpump door. Then, underneath the back corner there is a screw that goes into the bottom of the door.

I use my awning rod to prop the door open.
