Hi,

My Voyager camera monitor is dead and needs replacing. The dashboard is a jigsaw puzzle of parts; and doesn't want to open up easily.

I spoke with Winnebago and they pointed me to the CAD drawings online - but that doesn't help much.

Has anyone done this and can share the secret?

Thanks, Chris.

I would be interested in how you get the dash apart also. My Voyager monitor is starting to do some weird things and I think it is about to fail. Have you found a replacement monitor?

Voyager 7694 is supposed to fit. However the mounting looks different. I need to do some more research - I'll document my endeavors with some photos and post back. It will be in the New Year...

Chris.

Wayne: If you can get to the backside of the monitor....look to see if the video input cable is coming loose.

I finally had to tape the cable to the unit because it kept working itself "loose" from the connection. The issue first becomes noticible when the display rolls, or blanks off-on-off (grey screen). I happened to notice it happened most often on extreamly rough roads. Fortunately, for me, there is an access "cover" in my dash center above the camera monitor and the radio is below. Just three screws holding the cover in place. Reaching down and reconnecting the plug fixed the problem, but it soon worked loose again, hence the tape job...so far, that is holding the connection together.

Merry Christmas to you and Roberta!
Ed

Hi Ed

When I first turn the camera on, the right 1/2 of the screen is blank. It slowly grows to a complete picture. I haven't noticed any problem once it warms up.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Finally figured it out. I documented the project and posted a full write up here.

Chris.
