We just took delivery of our new to us 2008 Tour WD, we spend a fair bit of time at Provincial parks in Ontario and with our Adventurer all we had to do to replenish the fresh water tank was to gravity feed the water into our fresh water tank from the potable water inlet Winnebago provided, the new Tour does not have this inlet, is there any way to refill the fresh water tank without moving the rig to a pressurized water outlet?

Buy and use a 12 volt pump. Or you could plumb your onboard 12 volt water pump to transfer water form a container to the water tank. Buying a 12 volt pump that would use "alligator" clips to connect to your batteries would be the most simple.

Put your city water fill tank valve in the tank fill position. Then switch your winterizing valve so it will pull water through the hose you would normally would use to draw in anti freeze. You can now draw water from a container and it will be pumped into the fresh water holding tank.

Good suggestion Zippo. Being from Florida I've never winterized so forgot all about doing as you suggested.

Great Idea Zippo...I have often wondered how to do this w/o a direct pressure connection.
