HWH 310 series leveling jacks

I have an 02 Ultimate Freedom and when I parked yesterday the jacks won't come down. The battery light comes on when I try. I had difficulty raising them and had to open the relief valves to get them all the way up. I checked the batteries and they have good voltage and topped off the hyd fluid. Any ideas?

My problem with my HWH jacks traced back to the inline 40 AMP fuse; about a foot away from the pump motor solenoid : the " water proof " fuse holder , wasn't and the connections corroded. The connections would pass voltage ( enough to light the led on the pad , and show volts on a multi meter , but wouldn't pass amps to make the system run.
Believe it or not the fuse in this picture is not blown.

skip, i just replaced one of those yesterday. the easy way to protect that fuse is to make sure it is tied with the top of the fuse facing down. that and the cap on. most of the time, i find the cap hanging loose. napa makes one that is really waterproof, but it cost about 7 dollars. cost is always a factor. even for the retail buyer.
swabbie,
when a low battery light comes on, it is one of two things. a low engine battery, which most of the time it is not, or a bad connection. check the battery cable from the engine battery connection to the master relay on the pump assembly.
then check for bad grounds. the two bolts holding the pump to the mounting bracket is the main ground for the system. using a battery jumper cable, ground from the frame to the body of the pump. if that works, add a good cable ground from the pump assembly to the frame..
but first, if you have not done so, download a service manual for your system from the hwh website. there is no substitute for a service manual.
if you have questions, feel free to call me at 602-549-3638. i do work for hwh. thanks, paul maddox
i do not sell parts or solicit service work on this forum

swabbie10. Thanks for the thank you message.

Glad your problem turned out to be the fuse holder.

I'll post here saying that you've got things fixed, to wrap up you thread.
