HWH jack problem

We just got to Alaska today. Lots of dust and mud along the way as well as frost heaves. One jack does not go down automatically when I hit the auto level button. It worked fine up until today. I can push the manual down arrow button for that jack and it will go down. The auto retract retracts all of them. Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?

I would suggest you call HWH at 800-321-3494 and ask for their input. They have been very helpful to me on several occasions over the years.

Doug,
If you have the opportunity, swap solenoids around and see if the problem follows the solenoid. If the control box is readily accessable, it is a quick way to check and it is not messy.

With all the mud & dirt you have been picking up, after you put troubled jack down manually, spray all jacks with silicone spray than wipe down. May have to do a couple of times. Should slick up shaft for easier operation.

Well I have used the jacks a couple of times now and they are all deploying as they should. I had gone under the rig and checked electrical plugs and so forth. I didn't find anything wrong but maybe that fixed it for now or maybe running them up and down wiped the cylinder and allowed them to work again. Anyway, I am good to go until the next problem develops.

I would suspect a dirty outer seal on that jack. Especially if it is the rear right. Seems that is mine that gets the gunkiest. Get about 4 Q tips and dip them in automatic transmission fluid and wipe around when the jack goes into the cylinder. Go all the way around. Don't press too hard so you may have to do it a couple of times.
