I had problems with slow jacks but took the advice of several forum users and cleaned the jacks today using a silicone lubricant. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! Lubed them; wiped them down; cycled them a few times and boy do they work better!!!! I'm a junior member of this forum but plan on becoming a very senior member since I will use this forum forever!!!!

I noticed a difference also using silicone spray. Timed them and they were up in 2 minutes after the spray.

'MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LEAVE EXCESS LUBICANT AS IT WILL PICK UP CONTAMINENTS WHICH COULD TEAR THE SEALS WHEN THE JACKS RETRACT. i USES WD 40 ON A SLOW JACK SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND HAD TO REPLACE IT THE NEXT YEAR. CHECK WITH MANUFACTURER FOR RECOMENDATIONS.

When mine have slowed I've wiped the cylinders with ATF. Good results as well. Does anyone know "what" product HWH recomends?
