hydraulic leak under step

04 winnebago vectra...had passenger rear jack replaced at HWH this fall and it is leaking under entry step...any suggestions for repair?

Can you determine the source of the leak? I assume that you have discovered that the steps fold up after removal of a nut under the lip of the step for easy access to the HWH pump/tank.

I have had a couple of leaks over the years. I cleaned the top of the tank/pump. In one case it was obvious that the tank was overflowing ... in the second case, I took a picture of the leak, and emailed it to HWH ... they suggested a fix.

Check the 4 hex bolt heads on top of the manifold--they've been known to loosen up, resulting in leaking fluid. Take a look at this thread over on rvforum.net Gaak! We have an HWH leak . It contains descriptions and pictures.

I had a leak about 1 ft to the right of the steps. Opened the comp and removed access panel to a comp that had hyd lines for one side of the living room slide out. Both hoses were leaking. Replaced both and no more problems. Not sure if this applies to you or not.
