Had another complete display panel failure the other day. It happened while driving back from a weekend outing. I had mistakingly thought that the recall to reprogram the display a few months ago had taken care of the problem.
We were driving along when an alarm suddenly sounded. I first thought that I had left a turn signal on, but when I looked at the display, there was absolutely no power to anything! Then, just as suddenly as it failed, it all returned to normal operation. We were able to continue on home with no further problems.

Who knows what the problem is...? Unless I can reproduce the problem with a tech standing there, a successful fix is doubtful.
Over the past year+ that we have owned the Brave, I have found that most of my problems were ground related

I had two display failures on current trip. The first was in Kansas City, MO, and scared the "uknowhat" out of me. Heavy traffic all around, and suddenly everything on the dash went dead.
Second time was this morning while travelling US20 towards Riverton, WY.
All other failures have been rather quick; e.g., came back on in the blink of an eye. Today's failure lasted somewhere around 5-6 seconds.
