On my previous 97 Adventure I had a brass shutoff just ahead of the shower head. When I was dry camping I could shut off the water while lathering and then turn it back on with out having to re-adjust the temp valves. I have been looking all over for one for my Chieftain but can't find one.

Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks;
Don

We have a new Adventurer and the shut-off is at the top of the shower pipe. We've rented many MHs over the years and they always have this feature, but it can be hidden all over. The current MH has a small stud at the top of the pipe where the shower head hose meets it. Hope that helps.

Go to any plumbing store or your local hardware store and get a "Shower Shut Off Valve". I got mine from Ace Hardware. I installed it ahead of the hose to the shower head. Use teflon tape to seal it. Be careful not to overtighten the shower nozle. It is plastic and can crack.

Now you'll have the same shutoff that you had on your pevious shower head.

Good luck.

Bob

I agree with Bob. I got our water shut off from Lowes Hardware. Plastic chrome color, works great. I installed it at the shower neck.
