Question info 2007 Tour 40 ft w/ evolution chassis , vs. 2008 Maximum chassis

We are trying to make a decision to purchase a Winnebago Tour . Both are 40 ft. very similar. The 07 has a Evolution chassis and the 08 has a Maximum chassis.

Is there enough difference in the two to help decide which motor home to buy ?

Looking for help to decide which one to buy.

Again thanks for your help, Poppop

Here's the BuiltOnFreightliner info for the 2006 Tour with the Evolution chassis (didn't see a 2007 one) and here's the BuiltOnFreightliner info for the 2008 with the Maxum chassis. You can compare the two to get an idea about how the chassis differ.

I prefer the maxum chassis with the lowered rail frame that has more underneath cargo storage and the propane tank is acessable without a remote connection which can be problematic . Those are only two of the differences. Probably checking the factory brochures describing specifications would show differences between 07 and 08.

We have the Maxum Chassis on our 2008 Ellipse. Jerry J said it very well. There is a significant difference
