Does anyone know if there is 12V available near the ceiling vent in the Signtseer 30B? There are switched ceiling lights near by but I'll need a steady 12volts.

Yes, I believe Winnie pre-wires the galley vent. You can simply unscrew the existing vent cowl up there, drop it out and you should see the wires stuck into the ceiling styrofoam. Caution: they're usually 'live' when your coach power switch is on.
The switchover to a Fantactic fan will be something you'll be glad you did. Also consider a MaxxAir cover or AeroFlow cover; you can leave the vent lid open 24/7 without the fear of rain coming in, and it really doesn't hamper the fan's exhaust capability.

BRL,

Great idea and great product, I suggest you go with the best one with all the options, but before you do that, call Fantastic Vent and talk to Bob Berretta. 800-521-0298 Get the professinonals insite. Also ask Bob about the cover trith mentioned, they are NOT recommended and will reduce the performance of the fan by 35% +. If your going to go this expense, do it once and do it right.

I do not know about the Aeroflow, but the larger Maxair($80.00approx.) is fine with the Fantastic vents. I havent heard of any problem with that vent cover and like Troth said, it keeps the rain out.
