I got the OK to remove my instrument cluster from my local Workhorse support center rather than bringing the coach to him. The shop is in a not-so-good area and I’d prefer it be in its normal storage location.

Problem:
I can’t figure out how to remove it! The coach is a 2004 Winnebago Adventurer 33V on a W20 chassis. I can see the screws that hold it in but, they’re inaccessible.

Photo of cluster. Red circle shows where the screws are. Screwed in from the top and inaccessible.

It appears that it may be held in by fours clips. Photo below. These clips were covered in black electricians tape now removed for clarity.

Can anyone who has removed theirs provide some insight? It would certainly be appreciated.

Thanks…..

I took mine out back in 2004. There are several screws on the front side (6 maybe?) and 8 or so on the back side. I propped the dash up with a stick and found that I couldn't get it high enough to get to the screws because of the wiring harness to the switches.
I couldn't get the connectors off the the back of the switches so I ended up pushing the tabs on the sides and pulling the switches out through the front of the cash to take the connectors off.
After that it was no problem.

It sounds like your dash is different than mine

Do you have a W20 or W22 chassis? If you have either of those I would think the dash is the same.My dash is hinged at the back and lifts up.

One other possibility - although my coach is a 2004 my chassis is a 2003. Maybe it changed for 2004 chassis.
