Greetings! We recently purchased a 2002 Adventurer 32V. If I turn the switch to On, nothing happens and the light does not go on. I pulled the 12 volt connection at the back and checked for voltage. Voltage present. If I have external power plugged in, the green light is on stating external power. No other lights will come on and no TV when the motorhome is running(external power disconnected). Any other ways to determine if the inverter ist kaput? It is a Dimension Brand. Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Christian

Most motorhomes have a defeat feature to not allow the TV to operate when the ignition of the MH is 'on', as it is a state law in many states that the driver cannot view a TV when a coach is operating.

So if the TV operates on inverter when the ignition is 'off', and it does not work when the ignition is 'on', then my guess is it's working as designed.

FlyingW Welcome to irv2.
Congrats on your MH many safe and happy miles.
I have the same inverter for front TV at times when plugging in main power at CG pedestal the ground fault will trip on inverter and has to be reset. I never chased down why, I would just reset it, just remember to check it before going in at night to watch the 11 o'clock news.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Thanks for the info. Don. Unfortunately, the inverter doesn't wok with the ignition off either.
Happy traveling,
Christian

Christian, welcome to iRV2. Not sure what the correction to your problem is but is sounds minor to me.

Hope your "new" Winne gives you many years of pleasure.
