We just returned from a weekend trip. We pressed the switch to disable the house batteries as usual to keep them from discharging as it may be a while before we are out again. We noticed that the microwave display was on as was the light on the hair dryer. Further investigation reveal they were apparently being run from the inverter (12VDC to 120V). We checked the remote panel and noticed even after connecting the MH to shore power the remote panel (Heart Interface) does not seem to be operating. It is not displaying the DC voltage nor pressing any of the other buttons produce any results. Based on a laymans analysis it seems that perhaps a fuse has blown that operates the remote panel?? If so, where is it located? Any suggestions? Our MH is 2002 Journey DL 39QD w/ Freedom 15 Inverter/Battery Charger.

How about the transfer switch? Sounds like maybe shore power is not being seen by the inverter.

There is an "OFF/ON" switch on the inverter box itself. It should be in the OFF position. The remote panel sometimes loses it's logic. To reset, remove the panel from it's mounting and disconnect the telephone style connector on the back for a few seconds. This will usually get it going again.

Our pannel also went buggy and we reset it as JBWLMS suggested above. (believe it is mentioned in the manual)

Anyway, no problem since. Suggest you try that first.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I removed the Heart Interface and disconnected the plug. It did reset the unit and now it seems to be working fine. I could switch the inverter on/off with no problems. I appreciate the assistance.
