HI All.
We have just purchased a 94 Winnebago Vectra which I thought has a basement air with heat pump.
Our model is a colman 6795A832 but we can't seem to find out if it is a heat pump or just air and how we would operate the heat pump.
We are replacing the furnace as it had a rusted out heat chamber.
Now our rv tech says the furnace is routed to the thermastat by way of the basement air.
and one have our model we sure would appreciate any help.

I'm sure someone with that same model will check in, but in the meantime, does the thermostat have a switch that indicated "Electric Heat?" Our newer model does, plus the "Gas" heat.

Both of those on the thermostat would be a give-away.

I doubt seriously your coach has a heat pump. Looking through the 1994 Vectra brochure: http://www.winnebagoind.com/products...Vectra-bro.pdf

there is no mention of a heat pump option for any of the models. I've also looked online at several 94 Vectras for sale. Some of them have "all the options available" for 1994 and there is no mention of electric heat or a heat pump. Some mention "Central Heat/Air" with a digital thermostat, but again none mention a heat pump.
As a last thought units that do have a heat pump will have a selection on the thermostat for either gas or electric heat.

Sniggles..............per your original post you have a 6700 series (6795A832) air conditioner. that series is A/C only and does not have heating available in the unit.
