Hi All,
I have a 1997 Itasca Sunrise 31RQ. Most of the time I get full heat from the dash heater; with no control. It has a Frigette system and I downloaded the service tips for this system. I tells me almost everything I need to know. I see that all the vacuum motors are working as they should. The problem seems to be with the blend door or blend door servo. The temperature control is a potentiometer and the resistance changes as it should. I trace the wires from the control and they go to a seemingly unaccessible place in the center of the dash. Does anyone know anything about this problem and how I can remove the top cover of the dash. I removed the 4 defrost mouldings and 4 nuts from underneath accessed from the front motor access. That allowed the front part of the dash cover to be lifted somewhat, but I'm not sure how to remove the rest of it. I don't think that the blend door is broken as it will work occasionally. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!

Hi Again,
After doing some research on this site, I downloaded the parts list from Winnebago. It showed me what the servo looked like and where it was in relation to the heater assembly. No need to take the top of the dash off, thank goodness. So now I can fix it, thanks to this forum.

Hi Doug,

Welcome, I’m glad the site has helped with your dash heater problem. It is easier for others to comment on any problem you may have if they know what coach you have. Although the information is available to us in your ‘Public Profile’, the best place to add this information is in the signature line so it’s right there with your post.
