Itasca diesel pusher 12v electrical problem

I have a 2008 Itasca Ellipse with a house battery problem. Batteries are charged but no 12v circuits are working on the house battery. Aux battery disconnect relay seems to be the culprit, but I cannot physically locate the relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Winnebago/Itasca forum, click on the diagrams link in a sticky at page top. Follow the links to your specific model, then locate your 12V electrical diagram.

Once you've gotten to the wiring diagrams for your coach you'll probably want the Chassis Wiring Installation diagram.

I have downloaded the wiring and installation manuals but while they show the relay, they do not reveal where it is physically located.

I just fixed a similar problem on my Itasca dp. The problem was a broken ground wire on the ground bar. The ground bar is on the chassis frame in the battery compartment on my coach.
There are about 20 wires on the ground bar. They were all in bad shape and started breaking off as I tried to fix the bad connection. I ended up replacing the connections on all the ground wires.

The Chassis Wiring Installation diagram does show where it is physically located.

Not to insult your intelligence, but do you have a house battery (12 volt) disconnect switch some place that may have been inadvertently turned off? Otherwise, on our 2007 Ellipse 40TD 12 volt breakers/fuse links are inside the panel in the outside door under the drivers seat. Good luck - 12 volt problems can be very difficult to trace down if not simply a breaker/fuse issue.

I finally located the relay today, it was behind an access cover in the compartment behind the rear wheel but on the passenger side of the coach. Had a broken wire, easy fix.
