The gel coat on the fiberglass sidewall of our 03 Horizon had to be repaired. The white gel coat was so thin on the underlying fiberglass that the fibers had started to show through. I took the coach back to Suncoast RV in Jacksonville Fla. where we bought the MH and have received superior after the sale service. The service manager arranged a meeting with a Winnebago rep. the next week. We met and he agreed that the sidewall needed to be repaired and that they would cover it under warranty. The repairs are completed and the work was done very well, so much so that you can not see the repair at all. I know we all hear a lot about poor service, lying reps. and claim denials but this is the other side of the story. Suncoast has done more for Winnebago than any ad that they may run in the various magazines. Winnebago has great to me as a customer and I am glad to post good news in this forum. Many thanks to Suncoas RV and Winnebago. This reinforces my belief that it is just as important to get a good dealer/manufacturer as it a good price.

I have MANY hairline cracks over all my sidewalls (& both slides). Tried taking fotos & emailing to Winnie, but the pix just do not show up the severity of the cracks. Easy to see via eyeball.

Hoping for some positive response from Winnie, as the cracks are growing in number & magnitude. Now concerned about resale/trade value. I know I'm well out of warranty, but these things did not seem to be a big problem a while back; but now it IS a growing problem.

I've tried everything I know to mitigate the cracks, but no luck. Even a 1/2 Oz tube of special gel coat for 25 bucks. No help.
