My son is looking at a 96 Itaska Spirit. It has an aluminum roof. The unit looks in very good shape but I have always had a fiberglas roof and no experience with aluminum. I would appreciate any comments from folks with experience on aluminum roofs.
Thanks;
Don

Don had a aluminum roof on a 88 Cruise-Air never had a problem with it and it was still good on trade in 96. Just make sure all vents and seams if there are any have the sealents it needs, just like any other roof requires. "007"

Hi Don, we had a Coachman Class C in the 90's and never had a problem with the aluminum roof! I don't remember if it had any seams in it or not, but we did have a live bear up on it when we camped at Pennesula State Park in Door County! I think the aluminum makes a great roof.
