New owner of 2006 Itaska Suncriser 33-Ft Motorhome. I am not able to find any switch or method of turning ON/OFF the Driver Side Map Light which is mounted left, above and behind the driver side seat. Anyone have suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

Do you have a dash light dimmer switch some turn all the way and switch on accessory lights.

As 007 said, it should be controlled by the dash dimmer switch, just like the overhead light (used to be, anyway) in cars.

Dave - welcome to the Winnebago family and welcome to the forum! I might as well be the one to point out that you are the proud owner of an Itacsa and not an Itaska

Your dilemma puzzled me as well for a while when our coach was new - you should find your dash light dimmer turns on the map light.

Dave, I have to say I couldn't find it either, then I stumbled across it when I was fiddling around with the dashboard brightness.

I think that one has got the majority of us if we admit it or not...

It is controlled with the headlight switch "Dimmer" like an auto, but it is also on a "Kind Of" 3 way switch on the dash... Meaning if the dash switch is on, it is on, and if the headlight knob is turned to "Dome On" it is on, but if the Headlight knob is on, and the dash switch is off, it is still on... Just play with it and you will see.

I had mine all apart before I figured it out....

John
