I finally got my first class a winnie tonite. Picked up a 84 winnebago chieftain 22 footer. Small but fine for the two of us. Moving up from a popup it seems like moving into trump towers.
With winter approaching I have to learn fast the ins and outs of using a class a motorhome.
Is there anywhere I can download a good owners manual?
Lots of little things I "don't" know about.

Congratulations and Welcome!
You can order a manual copy from Mobility RV Winnebago Parts - Official Winnebago Parts and Accessories Catalog#
the part number is
054185-20-000 1984 Winnebago & Itasca
I have it as I have an '84 Elandan. The manual is worth getting - it has a lot of good information.
The folks at Mobility are very helpful. I was happy to learn they still have original decals !
Please keep us posted on your progress with your new to you treasure :~)
We're having a lot of fun just renovating our '84 and can't imagine how much we'll enjoy actually getting out.
