Iv'e dreaded this ever since I took posession of my MH.
Driving along I-15 northbound throug a construction site in Salt Lake City, the Auto-Park light came on, I took the next exit and stopped on the ramp. The smell of burned brake shoes were quite noticeable, with one foot on the brake pedal I asked my dear wife to step out of the MH and place a wheel chock in front of one of the wheels. We were facing down-hill. Switched on the emergency flashers and placed safety triangles, lowered both front and right rear manual jacks to increase the clearence under the MH, took out an old moving blanket and went in for a closer look. The hydraulic reservour was empty and oil all over the undercarrage of the MH and also on the front end of the Honda. (Free undercoating I guess).
To make a long story short, I removed the PIN to release the Emergency Break by recommendations of Roger (oldusedbear of oemys-performance).
I still have the foot operated emergency brake and the wheel chocks will be placed every time we leave Winnie unattended until we get back home.
Thanks Roger for having such a great web-site.
