On a trip this weekend. After about a 3 hour drive, stopped to check in at RV park. Shut off engine. Returned to coach after about 10 minutes and upon re-starting engine, I got 'jacks down' light and alarm. I got out and checked the jacks and all seemed fully retracted. I never could get the alarm to silence. Jacks worked fine to level coach.

Any ideas?

Did you try hitting the store button? If not, hit the on button, then the store button. If that doesnt do it, I believe there is a sensor type switch in the control panel that may be defective. Someone else hopefully can give you better explanation of it.
I do know that one reason the alarm will come on from time to time is the improper storing of the jacks. When retracting the jacks, leave the system in the store position even after the jacks have retracted. Do not turn off the ignition key. It takes a couple of minutes after the jacts have fully retracted to let the ssytem cycle thru. The on light will go off once it has cycled. This is spelled out in in operators manual for the jacks.

Welcome to the club! Imagine that alarm going off in the middle of the day in Dallas traffic! It'll scare the $%#$ out of you.

I finally pulled the fuse to shut off the alarm in my coach, and have never replaced it. It's one of those things that will not occur while you have your coach in the shop, but will as soon as you get a few miles away.

Most of the advice you'll get here is to check sensors, and make sure that you read the directions for using the jacks. My advice is to pull the fuse, and check the jacks visually each time you get ready to move out.

Been there, done that. This may help others with the HWH Jack Alarm issue:

smlranger;
I had that happen last weekend. It happened after I hit an unexpected bump in the road. When I got to a place to stop I applied the emergency brake and hit the "store" button after turning the control on. Everything went back to normal and has been fine since.

smlranger, you probably have the HWH leveler, the are notorious for that problem. What you have is a small pressure leak in one of the jacks. Take it to your dealer and have them adjust the system.

Before storing the jacks I sprayed all of them with silicone. All stored quickly and I had no more alarms. I'm taking the coach for service in next week or so and will have my RV mechanic check for any obvious problems.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
