While we sit at a site with the jacks down, we keep hearing cracking sounds coming from the jacks. It sounds like the jack pads are crushing small rocks as we sit. Someone said they thought there is a problem with the jacks. I think the jacks are breaking small rocks.

Anyone run across this?

I have not heard of this problem. Maybe it is the surface that you are sitting on.
