We have an 04 Journey 39K. As with any motorhome, there is always room for improvements to suit your needs. Here are the upgrades I've made myself. If anyone is the least bit interested, I can send you the info on how I did them.
1. Replaced rear bulky TV with a 19" LCD mounted to the back of the swing out door.
2. Installed a GFI 110V outlet on toilet wall(to use a ceramic htr to warm the shower area)
3. Installed a 110V outlet at the base of the refer wall next to the dinette seat.(we place a small table there for the toaster oven)
4. Installed a 110V outlet in that drivers side footrest that serves as a cover for the suround sound system and many wire bundles. Needed an outlet on front drivers side of coach.
5. Installed another TV cable and 110V outlet to the second curb side stoarge bay. I have a 22" LCD TV I can set up in there for outside viewing which is mostly for the grandkids to get them outside.
6. Installed a 14x14 non powered roof vent w/translucent lid in bedroom ceiling(wife always bellyaching about the poor amount of daylight in there). Use one of those vent cushions at night to block light.
7. Solidly secured that pesty exterior curbside floor slide seal that never stays put. On the 04's, it was just on with adhesive. On later models, I think they solved that problem.
Next project is to replace the original automatic Winegard Satellite Dish which is no longer automatic. Going to go with a Winegard Road Trip Mission dome. After that, an aero 5050XL muffler. I guess it never ends, does it?

Barry

On my 39K I did the same with the rear TV and also replaced the front TV with a flat screen. I did not do the others on your list but like the idea of your #6 but would ask why not a powered fan to help ventilate that room? Also if you have suggestions on where to position the vent and how you did the installation I'd like to know. (bobgilson at frontiernet.net)

I installed boost and EGT gauges and the Aero 5050XL muffler. The muffler is louder but exhaust temp dropped. Also added a 1 by 12 layer of shelve in most basement compartments to help spread out the "stuff" and make it easier to see and find items down there. Surprizingly the items stay on the shelf while traveling.

On the Cat 330 I replaced the failed fan bearing at about 37K and the Heui pump and injectors at about 58K.
Safe Travels

Wow Barry, you have been busy since arriving home. You didn't mention you also replaced your AF retirees i.d. card.

Say Hi to Sue.
