Journey 36M windshield leak found

I've had intermittent leaks since the coach was new from the plastic strip below the windshield. Dealer tried several times and could not locate it while it was under warranty, including sealtec pressure test. It went away for a while and came back this fall.

I found it today. If I slightly pull the rubber trim strip away from the fiberglass cap, with water hose on the cap, water flooded down the inside of the windshield.

Now that I have found it, I plan to take it to the local glass company and ask them to re-seal the windshield.

I know I could get some polyurethane sealant and fill the gap, glueing down the ruber trip strip, but I don't want to do anything to make any future windshield work an issue.

I think it's a smart move to get a glass company to seal it.

I too have been having intermittent leak on passenger side windshield. Today I inspected rubber molding on top and discovered that the molding was not properly seated in the groove that holds it allowing water to enter behind the seal. I had in mind to use butyl rubber ribbon to seal molding but after I saw how it was loos i simply used to palm of my hand to push it back in position. Before i do anything else, i am going to see if that takes care of the problem. Don't want to have window resealed because all the glass company's will not take responsibility if they break the glass, neither will most insurance company's. I will make another post on this after i see if it worked.
