Of you 39K owners with the Cat C-7, has anyone performed self-maintenance on replacing the v-belt and serpentine belt? Looks to me like access from bottom or top is a bearcat, but looking for tips on anyone who has done this. Thanx

Several months ago I replaced both belts and I needed access from top and bottom to get them changed. If memory serves me correctly in order to remove & replace the serpentine belt I needed access from above and below. The smaller belt was accessed from below but serpentine belt must be removed to remove the smaller belt. You need to really loosen or remove the serpentine tension pully to get the smaller belt off. I think the upper access to the serpentine belt was under the closet floor in my 39K. Changing belts was not a real hard process but did take some time.
