Im soaking the adjusters , with hopes of getting them operational again . B
But am doubtfull of sucess .. in the past i have aimed the lights by moving the metal bracket to get aim as best i can . i MAY , remove them if i cant fix them .

I dont know how I diverted to this job . I should be finishing my job on the belts & water pump . To add more frustration to the equation . A squirrel ate the lead to my rear camera .
There goes another $100 ! But thanks to RVCams Ill be back in buisness

All pictures have been taken with an IPHONE 7

Greenhorn ,
The suspence is killing me . Im waiting on delivery . Of new light housings . And both High & Low, led Seallights . It did take quite a bit of searching to find the 9005 High beams .

Can you tell me if there is a difference between both the H & L ? Other than the fitment end , as in pictures the look alike .

Did you do that mod on your Journey?

Just replaced my headlights with the Truck-lite 7" (27270c) LED lights. Great upgrade! Highly recommend this replacement.

Here are a few pictures to clear things up .
This install is on an 05 Journey .
I purchased new light housings . And installed the Sealight 9005 and & 9006 Sealight LED's These do not have fans on them ,which makes them more shalow than the fan type
If by chance they do not last as long as the Fan type I have in my car . I chose to enlarge the opening on the light bracket to allow an easyer change .

Its a poor adjustment design . With one cable inside the tube . The other is exposed , held in place with zip ties . Running through a cheep plastic do hickey , which can be replaced with a metal one if needed .

At present I did not re install the cable adjusters . Ill see if I can get a proper adjustment as I had in the past since the were rusted solid and would not turn .

I soacked them in Ospho , then in gasoline , then in oil . They are like new again.

On the install , on the outboard side . Check the gromets . Mine were like non existent . I found replacements in Lows . For now I left out the metal tubes and brackets . As they can be replaced at a later time if needed .

Here are a few pictures showing the parts and location of mounting hardware
Be prepared for a few cuts & bruses or wear gloves if you can . It's doable .
The difference is like day and night .
