I was just wondering how many out there have this model. I know the 34y seems to have been a hit, but you rarely see the 39n model mentioned. Just wanted to get a rough idea on how many are out there, swap some stories, etc.

We bought our 2010 model last summer and have been living aboard now since August. I needed to convert the bunk-bed space into my office for work, and the layout has been great. (We had owned a 2003 32' Horizon before, and sort of learned the diesel pusher ropes, while vacationing)

We haven't been able to drive much with it yet, although it has driven well on our 5 trips so far. Smooth, powerfull enough, 10mpg on our one long trip, a little wind noise at the driver's side window. Found out, you need to be doing about 64mph to get the transmission to kick into 6th.

But living in it full time, especially through the rainy Seattle winter, we have learned lots, and worked out several initial bugs. Nothing huge, a few equipment replacements, the Norcold recall, a few plumbing and electrical connection problems, one leak, etc., but our dealer (Roy Robinson in Marysville WA) has been great working with us, solving the problems even with our full-time living schedule.

The feature set and specs. look close to our Meridian 37. We are happy with it - Smooth, quiet, powerful and easy to drive. We are planning to travel about 13 months in the next 2 years, and looking forward to it.

Yes we did look hard at the 37H, and the 39z. I especially liked the storage under the bed of the 37H.

For 2010 the engine and transmission dropped a notch from the 2008-2009 models. For us, it was a trade-off from the engine and extra towing & carrying capacity, for the floorplan with the bunk-beds that I could turn into an office.

Hit the "mode" button on the transmission shifter control panel once you are underway. The little red light will come on to indicate "economy mode" and the transmission will shift into sixth gear much sooner then 64 mph.

Thanks, I will give that mode button a try. I generally like to stay a mile or two per hour below the speed limit and let the traffic by. Seemed a shame to just loaf along in 5th gear when running about 63mph.

In economy mode I cruise at 60 mph in sixth gear no problem.

We considered doing the same bunk-to-office conversion in a 39N.
Do you have any pics you can post?

We were hoping the 2011 would have the 360 hp rated 6.7 with an allison 3000, but instead they tweaked the layout and 'exposed' the bunk area.

There are always trade-offs. Cant wait to see whats up for 1012.
