Journey plumbing issue

We're at the IRV 10th Anniversary Reunion at Myrtle Beach. As I am connected to full HU's with my water inlet valve set to 'City Water,' my fresh water tank is also filling slowly and running out of the overflow. I got a new 'city water/water tank fill' valve from a local Winne dealer today and replaced my old valve. However, even with the new selector valve installed, the fresh water tank is filling. Others here have suggested the one-way valve in the water pump may be allowing water to flow both to the coach and the fresh water tank. If that is the case, I am thinking a check valve installed on the inlet to the water pump will cure that.

At any rate, the plumbing behind that panel looks like a Rube Goldberg apparatus. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Gary...I beleive your water pump has a one way check valve or diaphram to prevent water from going into the tank when hooked up to cg water...try putting some kind of shutoff on the pump outlet to see if that's the problem...

Gary...If you haven't already, try running the pump for a while...Maybe some crud is stopping the check valve from closing...
